Sonny Landreth Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Sonny Landreth is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter born in Mississippi in 1951 and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. He plays blues and roots rock shaped by Cajun and zydeco music, and is known for a slide-guitar technique that lets him fret notes behind the slide. His principal albums include South of I-10, Levee Town and From the Reach.

In the late 1980s, he toured with John Hiatt as a member of the Goners after playing on Slow Turning. His own trio was documented on Grant Street, recorded at the Grant Street Dancehall in Lafayette, and he later performed at several editions of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival.
