Stiff Little Fingers in Nottingham

Stiff Little Fingers are a Northern Irish punk rock band formed in Belfast in 1977. Their songs addressed the Troubles and everyday life through direct, urgent guitar music. The debut album Inflammable Material includes “Suspect Device” and “Alternative Ulster,” while “At the Edge” and “Nobody’s Hero” became further staples of their catalogue. The 1980 live album Hanx! documented concerts at the Rainbow Theatre in London and Friars in Aylesbury. After disbanding in 1982, the group reunited in 1987 and resumed touring; in 1992, Stiff Little Fingers began an annual St Patrick’s Day concert at Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow.
