The Jacksons in Coupar Angus

The Jacksons are an American family pop, soul and funk group formed in Gary, Indiana, in 1964 by brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael Jackson. As the Jackson 5, they recorded Motown hits including “I Want You Back,” “ABC” and “I’ll Be There.” After moving to Epic Records and taking the name The Jacksons, the group released albums such as Destiny and Triumph, home to “Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)” and “Can You Feel It.” The Destiny World Tour began in 1979, followed by the Triumph Tour in 1981 and the concert album The Jacksons Live!. The six-brother lineup played stadiums on the Victory Tour in 1984, which ended at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. In 2012, the Unity Tour brought Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon back to international stages together. The group later held its RockTellz & CockTails residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, then performed on the West Holts stage at England’s Glastonbury Festival in 2017.
