Super Furry Animals in Dublin

Super Furry Animals are a Welsh band formed in Cardiff in 1993, playing alternative rock shaped by psychedelia, electronic music and power pop. Their catalogue includes the albums Fuzzy Logic, Radiator, Mwng and Rings Around the World, as well as songs such as “The Man Don’t Give a Fuck,” “Something 4 the Weekend” and “Juxtapozed with U.” They have recorded in both English and Welsh. In 2015, the five members reunited for their first concerts after a hiatus, including shows at Cardiff University Great Hall and London’s Brixton Academy. They followed that return in 2016 by playing Fuzzy Logic and Radiator in full on a UK tour marking the albums’ anniversaries. Their concerts use the full five-piece band, and extended performances of “The Man Don’t Give a Fuck” have often served as the finale, accompanied by the white yeti costumes associated with the song.
