Tamia in Cape Town

Tamia is a Canadian R&B and soul singer born in Windsor, Ontario, in 1975. Her recording career began in the 1990s through appearances on Quincy Jones’s album Q’s Jook Joint, including “You Put a Move on My Heart”; her self-titled debut album followed in 1998. Her best-known recordings include “So Into You,” “Stranger in My House” and “Officially Missing You.” The Passion Like Fire Tour took Tamia across North America after the 2018 release of the album of the same name. In 2023, she mounted a South African tour that included GrandWest Grand Arena in Cape Town, Durban ICC and SunBet Arena in Pretoria. She followed it in 2024 by co-headlining a North American tour with Joe.
