The 502s in Simsbury Center

The 502s are an American indie-folk band formed in Orlando, Florida. Their music uses acoustic guitars, banjo, horns and group vocals, and they are known for songs including “Just a Little While” and “Magdalene,” as well as the albums Because We Had To and Could It Get Better Than This. The Pure Serotonin Tour took The 502s through North American headline rooms in 2022. The Fresh Squeezed Happiness Tour followed, extending their concert schedule through the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and continental Europe. The 502s perform as a full band led by singer and guitarist Ed Isola, using the banjo, brass and ensemble vocals heard on their records. Their festival appearances have included Lollapalooza in Chicago and Boston Calling in Massachusetts.
