The Blaze are a French electronic duo formed in 2016 by cousins Guillaume and Jonathan Alric. Their house and electronica are closely tied to the narrative films they direct for tracks including “Virile,” “Territory” and “Heaven”; their albums include Dancehall and Jungle. The duo debuted its concert production at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris in 2017, performing electronic instruments while their films ran in synchronization with the music. In 2018, they brought that audiovisual set to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
