The BossHoss & Megawatt in Schaffhausen

The BossHoss are a German country-rock band formed in Berlin in 2004 by Alec Völkel and Sascha Vollmer, who perform as Boss Burns and Hoss Power. They first became known for recasting pop and rock songs in a country and rockabilly style, including “Hey Ya!” and “Hot in Herre,” before establishing their own catalogue through albums such as Liberty of Action and Dos Bros and the single “Don’t Gimme That.” In 2005, the band performed at Wacken Open Air and supported Motörhead on German dates. They later moved into headline arena shows, presenting their songs with a full band on tours including the Dos Bros Tour and Black Is Beautiful Tour.
