The Chainsmokers are an American electronic-pop duo formed in New York City in 2012 by Alex Pall and Drew Taggart. They became known through “#Selfie” and followed it with songs including “Roses,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” “Closer” and the Coldplay collaboration “Something Just Like This”; their first album was Memories...Do Not Open. The 2017 Memories Do Not Open Tour took the duo into arenas across North America, with Taggart handling vocals and guitar alongside Pall’s electronic setup. That year they also began an exclusive Wynn Nightlife residency in Las Vegas, including performances at XS Nightclub. The 2019 World War Joy Tour paired them with 5 Seconds of Summer and Lennon Stella.
