The Dear Hunter is an American progressive rock band formed in Providence, Rhode Island, in 2005 by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Casey Crescenzo. The band is best known for the Acts, a sequence of concept albums beginning with Act I: The Lake South, The River North, as well as records including Migrant and Antimai. In 2012, the band performed the complete Color Spectrum project at the Somerville Theatre, a concert later issued as a live release. The Dear Hunter supported Coheed and Cambria on the 2017 Neverender GAIBSIV tour, then headlined The Acts Tour in 2019, centering its concerts on the five-album narrative.
Closure in Moscow are an Australian progressive rock and post-hardcore band formed in Melbourne in 2006. Their catalogue includes the EP The Penance and the Patience and the albums First Temple, Pink Lemonade and Soft Hell, with songs such as “A Night at the Spleen” and “Seeds of Gold” showing their shift toward more experimental rock. In 2009, they brought material from First Temple to the United States, performing at SXSW before joining that summer’s Vans Warped Tour. The following year they returned to Australian festival stages at Soundwave.
