The Divine Comedy is a Northern Irish chamber-pop group formed in Enniskillen in 1989 and led by singer, songwriter and arranger Neil Hannon. Its orchestral pop, literary lyrics and dry humour are heard on albums including Casanova, A Short Album About Love and Fin de Siècle, as well as songs such as “Something for the Weekend,” “Songs of Love” and “National Express.” A 2008 concert at Somerset House was documented on the album Live at Somerset House. Performances connected to Foreverland in 2016 and 2017 supplied the recordings for Loose Canon (Live in Europe 2016–17), while the 2022 Charmed Life tour brought Neil Hannon and his touring band back to theatres across Britain and Ireland.
