The Fall of Troy in Iowa City

The Fall of Troy is an American rock trio formed in Mukilteo, Washington, in 2002. The band plays technical post-hardcore and math rock built around Thomas Erak’s rapid guitar work, Andrew Forsman’s drumming and abrupt rhythmic shifts. The albums Doppelgänger and Manipulator established its best-known material, including “F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X.” and “Mouths Like Sidewinder Missiles.” The original lineup reunited for three shows in 2013, performing in Austin, Los Angeles and Seattle after several years apart. That return led to further touring, and in 2015 the band performed its second album in full on the Doppelgänger tenth-anniversary tour.
