Dashboard Confessional in Toronto

Dashboard Confessional is an American emo and alternative-rock project founded in Boca Raton, Florida, in 1999 by singer-songwriter Chris Carrabba. It began as a solo acoustic outlet and developed into a full band, becoming known for the albums The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most and A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar, as well as the songs “Screaming Infidelities,” “Hands Down” and “Vindicated.” In 2002, Dashboard Confessional recorded an acoustic television performance in New York, which was released as the live album and video MTV Unplugged 2.0. The band later headlined the 2006 Honda Civic Tour, and its 2020 anniversary shows revisited early records including The Swiss Army Romance and The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most.
