The Ghost Inside in Dortmund

The Ghost Inside are an American metalcore band formed in Los Angeles in 2004, originally under the name A Dying Dream. Their melodic hardcore sound is represented by albums including Get What You Give, Dear Youth and The Ghost Inside, while “Engine 45,” “Avalanche” and “Aftermath” are among their best-known songs. The band played Vans Warped Tour and supported A Day to Remember on the Parks & Devastation Tour before a 2015 bus crash in Texas killed both drivers and left the musicians with serious injuries. After several years away, The Ghost Inside returned to the stage at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles in 2019, then played an East Coast comeback show at The Palladium in Worcester in 2021. The Ghost Inside have performed at Download Festival in England and Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium. Their European festival history also includes Hellfest in France.
