The Living End in Townsville

The Living End are an Australian punk-rock band formed in 1994. They play fast, melodic punk with rockabilly guitar and double bass; “Prisoner of Society,” “Second Solution” and the albums The Living End, Roll On and White Noise are central to their catalogue. In 2009, The Living End performed at Sound Relief at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, a benefit concert for communities affected by natural disasters. In 2010 they opened AC/DC’s Australian stadium dates on the Black Ice World Tour. The Living End perform as a three-piece: Chris Cheney sings and plays guitar, Scott Owen plays double bass, and Andy Strachan plays drums.
