The Main Squeeze is an American funk and soul band formed in Bloomington, Indiana, in 2010 by musicians who met at Indiana University. The group plays groove-led funk rock with R&B and pop elements, and is known for the albums Mind Your Head and Without a Sound, the song “I’ll Take Another,” and its recording of Pink Floyd’s “Have a Cigar.” The Main Squeeze have performed at Red Rocks and at festivals including Bonnaroo, Electric Forest and High Sierra Music Festival. Their club and theatre touring has also included shows supporting George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic.
