Artist
The Mavericks are an American band formed in Miami in 1989 and led by singer Raul Malo. Their country and rock sound draws strongly on Cuban and Tex-Mex music, heard on albums including What a Crying Shame and Music for All Occasions. Their best-known songs include “All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down,” “Dance the Night Away” and “Here Comes the Rain.” A 2004 concert at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin was documented on Live in Austin, Texas. After reuniting in 2012, the band returned to the road with an appearance at Stagecoach and further headline dates. In 2019 they marked three decades together on the 30th Anniversary World Tour.
