Artists
The Motet is an American band formed in Denver in 1998 by drummer Dave Watts. The group plays rhythm-driven funk informed by jazz, Afrobeat and jam-band improvisation, and its catalogue includes the albums Totem and Death or Devotion. In 2018, The Motet marked its 20th anniversary with a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The band has also performed in clubs and concert halls including Brooklyn Bowl in New York and the Fillmore Auditorium. Its festival history includes appearances at Bonnaroo and Electric Forest.
Tauk is an American instrumental rock quartet from Oyster Bay, New York. Matt Jalbert plays guitar, Charlie Dolan bass, A.C. Carter keyboards and Isaac Teel drums. The group plays jazz fusion and progressive rock shaped by funk and electronic music; its catalog includes the albums Homunculus, Collisions, Sir Nebula and Shapeshifter II: Outbreak. Tauk has toured with Umphrey's McGee and STS9 in clubs and theatres. The quartet has also performed at Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Summer Camp Music Festival and The Peach Music Festival.
