The Orwells in Los Angeles

The Orwells are an American garage-rock band formed in Elmhurst, Illinois, in 2009. Their raw, punk-driven sound is documented on the albums Remember When, Disgraceland and Terrible Human Beings, while “Who Needs You,” “The Righteous One” and “Buddy” are among their best-known songs. In 2014, The Orwells performed “Who Needs You” on Late Show with David Letterman, prompting the host to call for an encore after the broadcast performance. They later opened North American dates for Arctic Monkeys and appeared at major festivals, including Lollapalooza and Coachella.
