Pastor Troy in Atlanta

Pastor Troy is an American rapper from College Park, Georgia, born in 1977 and associated with Atlanta’s early crunk and Southern hip-hop scenes. He became known through the album We Ready (I Declare War), the track “No Mo Play in G.A.” and later releases including Face Off and Universal Soldier. “Vice Versa” remains one of his signature songs. In 2019, Pastor Troy performed at the revived FreakNik festival at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta. At that show he appeared on the same program as Juvenile, Trina, Ying Yang Twins, Uncle Luke and Da Brat.
