The Philharmonik in Charlotte

The Philharmonik is an American singer, rapper, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Sacramento, California, who plays hip-hop, R&B, soul and funk. NPR Music selected his song “What’s It All Mean?” as the winner of the 2024 Tiny Desk Contest. His releases include the self-titled album The Philharmonik and Kironic. In 2024, he performed a Tiny Desk concert at NPR’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., leading a full band from the keyboard while alternating between singing and rapping. The subsequent Tiny Desk Contest On the Road tour took his live set beyond California to venues across the United States.
