The String Queens are an American string trio formed in Washington, D.C., in 2017. Violinist Kendall Isadore, violist Dawn Johnson and cellist Elise Sharp perform arrangements drawn from R&B, pop, jazz and classical music; their recorded work includes the album Rise. The trio performed during the official celebrations for the 2021 inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Their concert history also includes appearances at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Carnegie Hall.
