The Tea Party in Trois-Rivières

The Tea Party are a Canadian rock trio formed in Windsor, Ontario, in 1990. Their progressive and alternative rock draws on blues and Middle Eastern musical traditions; key recordings include Splendor Solis, The Edges of Twilight and Transmission, alongside songs such as “The Bazaar,” “Sister Awake” and “Temptation.” The Tea Party reunited for Canadian concerts in 2011 after separating in 2005, then returned to Australia for the Reformation Tour in 2012. In 2015, the trio marked the anniversary of The Edges of Twilight by performing the album in full on tour. The Tea Party have repeatedly toured Australia, including performances in Melbourne and Brisbane.
