Artist
The Varukers are a British hardcore punk band formed in Leamington Spa in 1979 and fronted by Anthony “Rat” Martin. Their fast, abrasive d-beat sound became associated with the UK82 scene through releases including the EP Protest and Survive and the albums Bloodsuckers and One Struggle One Fight. Live in Holland documented the band’s early European concert work. After reforming in 1990, The Varukers resumed international club and festival touring; later appearances included Rebellion Festival in Blackpool and Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas.
