Artist
The Whistlin' Donkeys are an Irish folk band formed in County Tyrone in 2011. They play traditional songs and ballads in a contemporary style led by banjo, fiddle and guitars, and are known for their versions of “Hills of Donegal,” “Star of the County Down” and Richard Thompson’s “Beeswing.” The band documented an early Belfast performance on Live at Mandela Hall. Their later concert history includes a headline date at Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow and North American appearances at Milwaukee Irish Fest.
