The Wolfe Tones in Kerry

The Wolfe Tones are an Irish folk group formed in Dublin in 1963. Their repertoire is closely associated with Irish republican history and includes “Come Out Ye Black and Tans,” “Celtic Symphony,” “Joe McDonnell” and “The Streets of New York.” At Féile an Phobail in 2022, the group performed at Falls Park in Belfast. The following year brought an appearance at Electric Picnic and 60th-anniversary concerts at the 3Arena. In 2024, they took their song-led folk show to an outdoor audience at London’s Finsbury Park.
