Thees Uhlmann in Aschaffenburg

Thees Uhlmann is a German singer-songwriter, musician and author, born in Hemmoor in 1974. He became known as the singer and guitarist of the indie-rock band Tomte before releasing the solo albums Thees Uhlmann, #2 and Junkies und Scientologen. His solo catalogue includes “Zum Laichen und Sterben ziehen die Lachse den Fluss hinauf” and “Danke für die Angst.” As Tomte’s frontman, Thees Uhlmann spent years touring clubs and festivals before establishing his solo live career. The Junkies und Scientologen tour followed the 2019 album of the same name and took him through German clubs and theatres with a backing band. His concert repertoire covers his solo records and songs by Tomte.
