Comedian
Theo Maassen is a Dutch comedian, cabaret performer and actor, born in Oegstgeest in 1966. He won the Cameretten competition in 1990 and is known for Dutch-language solo comedy built on blunt social observation and confrontation. His screen work includes roles in Minoes, TBS and Doodslag. Functioneel naakt and Tegen beter weten in were among the theatre programmes he toured across the Netherlands. He later returned with Zonder pardon and Met alle respect, followed by the solo shows Vankwaadtoterger, Situatie gewijzigd and Onbekend terrein.
