Theo Parrish is an American DJ, producer and label founder associated with Detroit’s deep house scene. Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Chicago, he settled in Detroit in the 1990s and established Sound Signature. His catalogue includes “Falling Up,” “Heal Yourself and Move,” First Floor and Parallel Dimensions. London club Plastic People hosted his extended DJ sets and Music Is... residency. In 2014, he presented the live-band concert Black Music at the Barbican, where the ensemble included Amp Fiddler. His festival appearances have also included Movement in Detroit and Dekmantel in Amsterdam.
