Tomahawk in Cleveland

Tomahawk is an American experimental rock band formed in 1999 by vocalist Mike Patton and guitarist Duane Denison, joined in its original lineup by drummer John Stanier and bassist Kevin Rutmanis. The group plays angular alternative metal and noise rock, and is known for the albums Tomahawk, Mit Gas, Anonymous, Oddfellows and Tonic Immobility. In 2002, Tomahawk supported Tool on a North American arena tour, bringing the band to larger rooms early in its live history. The group followed that run by appearing at Australia’s Big Day Out in 2003, then returned to sustained touring around Oddfellows a decade later and performed at Soundwave in 2013.
