Tomomi Kahara is a Japanese pop singer, born in Tokyo in 1974, who made her recording debut in 1995. Her early work with producer Tetsuya Komuro produced the signature singles “I BELIEVE,” “I'm proud” and “Hate tell a lie,” while the album LOVE BRACE established her as a major voice in 1990s J-pop. The 2013 concert DREAM: TOMOMI KAHARA CONCERT 2013 at NHK Hall marked her return to solo headline performances. She followed it with the nationwide TOMOMI KAHARA CONCERT TOUR 2014: MEMORIES, bringing her catalogue to concert halls across Japan.
