Tori Amos in Lewiston

Tori Amos is an American singer-songwriter and pianist, born in 1963, whose music draws on alternative pop, piano rock and art pop. Her 1992 solo debut Little Earthquakes includes “Silent All These Years” and “Crucify”; Under the Pink followed with “Cornflake Girl,” while Boys for Pele expanded her keyboard-led songwriting. The 1996 Dew Drop Inn Tour featured piano, harpsichord and harmonium. For Plugged ’98, she toured with a full band, and the Night of Hunters Tour in 2011 paired her with the Apollon Musagète Quartett. She performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1991 and 1992. In 1998, she played the Glastonbury Festival.
