Artist
Tourniquet is an American Christian metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1989 by drummer and songwriter Ted Kirkpatrick, vocalist Guy Ritter and guitarist Gary Lenaire. Its technical thrash and progressive metal are represented by the albums Stop the Bleeding, Psycho Surgery and Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance>, and by songs including “Ark of Suffering” and “Broken Chromosomes.” The 1993 concert release Intense Live Series, Vol. 2 documents Tourniquet’s early stage repertoire. The band later performed at Christian and heavy-music events including Cornerstone Festival in Illinois.
