About Tracy Morgan

Tracy Morgan is an American stand-up comedian and actor, born in 1968 and raised in the Bronx. He became widely known as a cast member of Saturday Night Live and later played Tracy Jordan on 30 Rock; his screen work also includes The Last O.G. and the voice of Luiz in Rio.

The 2016 Picking Up the Pieces tour marked his return to stand-up after the 2014 traffic collision that left him seriously injured. That comeback produced the comedy special Staying Alive, recorded at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank.
