Train in Santa Barbara

Train is an American pop-rock band formed in San Francisco in 1993 and fronted by singer Pat Monahan. The group became known through songs including “Meet Virginia,” “Drops of Jupiter,” “Calling All Angels” and “Hey, Soul Sister,” while the albums Drops of Jupiter and Save Me, San Francisco mark key points in its catalogue. The Picasso at the Wheel Summer Tour took Train through North American amphitheatres in 2015, accompanied by The Fray and Matt Nathanson. Train later mounted the Play That Song Tour with O.A.R. and Natasha Bedingfield, then co-headlined a 2019 summer run with Goo Goo Dolls. In 2022, the AM Gold Tour paired Train with Jewel and Blues Traveler.
