Artist
Tray Wellington is an American banjo player and songwriter from western North Carolina whose music draws on bluegrass, newgrass and folk. He first became known through Cane Mill Road, then established a solo catalog that includes the EP Uncaged Thoughts and the album Black Banjo. Tray Wellington toured with Cane Mill Road before leading the Tray Wellington Band. The group has since performed at MerleFest and the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival.
