tricot in Tokyo

tricot are a Japanese math-rock and alternative-rock band formed in Kyoto in 2010 by vocalist-guitarist Ikkyu Nakajima, guitarist Motoko Kida and bassist Hiromi Sagane. Drummer Yusuke Yoshida later completed the four-piece lineup. Their best-known releases include the albums T H E, A N D and 3, as well as songs such as “POOL” and “Oyasumi.” In 2014, tricot toured Europe and opened for Pixies on UK dates. Further overseas appearances included SXSW in Austin and ArcTanGent in England. In Japan, the band has performed at Fuji Rock Festival and Rock in Japan.
