Twenty One Pilots in Budapest

Twenty One Pilots is an American alternative pop and rock act formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 2009. Since 2011, the group has consisted of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. Their music incorporates electronic production, rap passages, piano and ukulele, and they are known for the album Blurryface, the songs “Stressed Out,” “Ride” and “Heathens,” and the album Trench. The Emotional Roadshow World Tour ran through 2016 and 2017 and included arena concerts. The duo followed Trench with the Bandito Tour in 2018 and 2019, returned to arenas on the Icy Tour in 2022, and began the Clancy World Tour in 2024. At their concerts, Tyler Joseph handles vocals and moves among piano, bass and ukulele, while Josh Dun plays drums. A recurring part of the show places him and a drum kit on a platform supported above the floor by audience members. The 2021 Takeover Tour used a deliberate room-by-room format in Denver. The duo began at the Bluebird Theater, then played the Ogden Theatre and Mission Ballroom before closing the city run at Ball Arena.
