Twin Tribes is an American darkwave duo formed in Brownsville, Texas, in 2017 by Luis Navarro and Joel Niño Jr. Their music draws on post-punk, coldwave and synth-led new wave. They are known for the albums Shadows, Ceremony and Pendulum, and for songs including “Fantasmas,” “Monolith” and “Heart & Feather.” The Pendulum Tour took Twin Tribes through North America and Europe. Their live history also includes appearances at Cruel World in Pasadena and Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig. The live setup centers on the duo: Luis Navarro sings and plays guitar and synthesizer, while Joel Niño Jr. plays bass and synthesizer.
