Upon A Burning Body is an American metal band formed in San Antonio, Texas, in 2005. Their music draws on deathcore, metalcore and groove metal, and their catalog includes the albums The World Is Ours, Red. White. Green. and Straight from the Barrio, as well as songs such as “Sin City” and “Texas Blood Money.” Upon A Burning Body played the Mayhem Festival in 2012 and returned to the touring festival in 2014. The band also took its heavy live set overseas, including an appearance at England’s Download Festival.
Norma Jean is an American metalcore band formed in Douglasville, Georgia, in 1997 under the name Luti-Kriss; it adopted its present name in 2002. The band is known for dense, abrasive records including Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child, O God, the Aftermath, Redeemer, Wrongdoers and All Hail. Norma Jean played Ozzfest in 2006 and later appeared on the 2008 Vans Warped Tour. In 2022, the band toured for the 20th anniversary of Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child, performing the album in full. The tour also featured Emery and The Ongoing Concept.
