About Vasya Oblomov

Vasya Oblomov is the stage name of Russian musician Vasily Goncharov, frontman of the rock band Cheboza. He writes Russian-language satirical rock and rap, and is best known for the 2010 song and video “Еду в Магадан.” His albums include “Повести и рассказы,” “Стабильность” and “Ломки.”

In 2011, Vasya Oblomov performed at the Nashestvie festival, bringing the project’s topical songs to an outdoor festival stage. He later presented his records with a backing band at headline concerts in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
