Artist
Vended are an American metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2018, playing nu metal driven by groove-heavy riffs and screamed vocals. The lineup includes frontman Griffin Taylor and drummer Simon Crahan, the sons of Slipknot members Corey Taylor and Shawn Crahan. The EP What Is It//Kill It introduced songs including “Asylum” and “Burn My Misery,” while the self-titled album Vended followed in 2024. Vended played Knotfest Iowa in 2021 before appearing at Download Festival and Bloodstock Open Air in 2022. In 2024, they joined Slipknot’s Here Comes the Pain tour in North America on dates that also featured Knocked Loose.
