Artist
Ventolin is the electronic project of Czech musician and cultural anthropologist David Doubek, active since 2007. He makes acid-leaning dance music shaped by drum machines and synthesizers; his releases include the albums Totem, Vitajte and Dneska se vyčasilo. Ventolin performs solo, using electronic hardware to build and reshape tracks during the set. He has brought this setup to clubs and festivals, and a filmed performance for Boiler Room in Prague documents the format.
