Viagra Boys are a Swedish post-punk band formed in Stockholm in 2015. Their music draws on punk, dance rhythms and saxophone-led noise, while Sebastian Murphy’s deadpan lyrics focus on masculinity, consumer culture and social anxiety. The band is known for the albums Street Worms, Welfare Jazz and Cave World, and for songs including “Sports,” “Ain’t Nice” and “Troglodyte.” They played Primavera Sound in Barcelona in 2022. The following year brought performances at Coachella and Glastonbury, extending their festival history on both sides of the Atlantic. The concert format is a full band of guitar, keyboards and drums around the vocals of Sebastian Murphy, the bass of Henrik Höckert and the saxophone of Oskar Carls.
