Vince Gill in Hiawassee

Vince Gill is an American country singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in Norman, Oklahoma, in 1957. He first reached a broad audience as a member of Pure Prairie League, singing lead on “Let Me Love You Tonight,” before building a solo catalogue that includes “When I Call Your Name,” “I Still Believe in You” and “Go Rest High on That Mountain.” Vince Gill joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1991 and has returned frequently to its stage. His Christmas concerts with Amy Grant at Ryman Auditorium became a long-running Nashville series, while another chapter began when he joined the Eagles’ touring lineup in 2017. His first concert with the Eagles took place that year at Classic West at Dodger Stadium.
