Volker Rosin in Bochum

Volker Rosin is a German singer-songwriter, born in 1956, who writes pop-based movement songs for children. His best-known songs include “Das singende Känguru,” “Der Gorilla mit der Sonnenbrille,” “Theo Theo” and “Das Lied über mich”; his music has also featured on the KiKA programme “TanzAlarm.” Volker Rosin has performed his repertoire for decades at theatres, family festivals and open-air events. He leads children and parents through simple dances, call-and-response passages and repeated choruses, making audience participation the central structure of his concerts. Most of his live work has taken place in Germany.
