Artist
Wakin Chau is a Hong Kong-born Taiwanese singer-songwriter and actor, born in 1960, whose work spans Mandopop and Cantopop. Previously credited as Emil Chau, he is known for songs including “You Make Me Happy and Sad,” “Flowery Heart” and “Friends.” The Superband world tour opened at Taipei Arena in 2009, where he performed with Jonathan Lee, Lo Ta-yu and Chang Chen-yue. Concerts in Hong Kong and Singapore followed before the quartet ended its run in 2010, while his later solo arena work included the What We Sing World Tour and The Younger Me concert tour.
