Watkins Family Hour in Los Angeles

Watkins Family Hour is an American folk and Americana project created by siblings Sara and Sean Watkins, both members of Nickel Creek. Built around collaborative performances and a changing cast of musicians, the group has released the albums Watkins Family Hour, brother sister and Vol. II. The project began in 2002 as a monthly residency at Largo in Los Angeles, where the Watkins siblings performed with invited singers and instrumentalists. After the self-titled album appeared in 2015, they took the ensemble format on a North American tour whose musicians included Fiona Apple and Benmont Tench.
