When Saints Go Machine & Spleen United in Aalborg

When Saints Go Machine are a Danish electronic-pop band formed in Copenhagen in 2007. Their synth-led music is marked by Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild’s high, flexible vocals, and their best-known releases include the albums Konkylie and Infinity Pool, as well as the songs “Kelly,” “Church and Law” and “Fail Forever.” When Saints Go Machine have performed at Roskilde Festival as part of their Danish live history. Their later concert work included So Deep, an orchestral collaboration with Copenhagen Phil performed at DR Koncerthuset.

Spleen United is a Danish electronic rock band formed in Aarhus in 2002 by brothers Bjarke and Gaute Niemann. Synthesizers, guitars and forceful rhythms shaped albums including Godspeed into the Mainstream, Neanderthal and School of Euphoria, as well as the song “Heroin Unltd.” In 2006, Spleen United played Roskilde Festival during the concert run behind its debut album. After a long hiatus from performing, the full band returned to the stage in 2022 for a reunion show at NorthSide.
