Will Wood in Chicago

Will Wood is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who plays theatrical alternative pop shaped by cabaret, piano rock and jazz. He first released music as Will Wood and the Tapeworms, including the albums Everything Is a Lot and SELF-iSH, before recording under his own name. His solo catalogue includes The Normal Album and In Case I Make It, as well as the songs “I/Me/Myself,” “The Main Character” and “Against the Kitchen Floor.” Recordings from his 2022 tour became the live album In Case I Die, which documents solo performances built around piano, guitar and spoken interludes. After a hiatus from performing, he returned to theatres in 2024 with a one-man music and comedy show titled The Slouching Towards Bethlehem Tour.
